About Local Footprints
The purpose of Local Footprints is to help local authorities and schools make an effective contribution to reducing Scotland's footprint through the use of footprint analysis to inform policy and practice, to raise awareness, and to change behavior.
Local Footprints is a programme of the Sustainable Scotland Network (SSN) which is a network of sustainable development officers and advocates from Scottish local authorities. At the Network's core is a small development team, funded by the Scottish Government, and hosted by Keep Scotland Beautiful. Keep Scotland Beautiful is an operating name of Environmental Campaigns (Scotland). Scottish Charity Number SC030332.
